Description

TRIZ is an abbreviation for theory of inventive problem solving and deals with the methodical development of innovative new ideas and products. To this end, it contains a number of methodological tools that make it possible to break out of conventional ways of thinking in order to find unconventional, innovative solutions to problems.

Procedure

  1. Describe the specific problem using schematic formulations
  2. Abstract the problem into a general problem
  3. Find general solutions to this problem using the TRIZ tools
  4. Reverse transformation and concretization into a specific solution
