Description

TILMAG is an acronym for Transformation of Ideal Solution Elements by Matrices of Association and Similarity Formation. Firstly, ideal solution elements that are worth striving for are defined and then compared. Associations are determined, which in turn are checked for similarities. The results are reflected back to the initial problem.

Procedure

  1. Determine ideal solution elements
  2. Comparison of two ideal solution elements and noting down the resulting associations in an association matrix
  3. Transfer the associations to the problem
  4. Comparison of two associations and noting similarities in a similarity matrix
  5. Using the commonality matrix to stimulate ideas
