Description

Similarity analysis is a method used to analyze product characteristics and identify similarities between different objectp. It makes it possible to transfer knowledge from already known objects to new solutions or solutions to be developed.

Procedure

  1. Look for rules that, in the sense of a law of similarity (for example mechanical, thermal or material), allow the transfer of statements from one to the other object
  2. Transfer findings to the product under investigation
