  • Activity 3: Searching for solution principles and their solutions

Description

SIL is an acronym for Systematic Integration of Solution Elements. This involves working individually or in pairs to develop solutions to a previously defined problem. The solutions developed are then presented one after the other in an attempt to integrate them into the solutions already presented.

Possibilities for support

  • Encouraging the creativity of the participants with the help of stimulating information

Procedure

  1. Clarify and specify the problem or task
  2. Develop solutions in individual or pair work
  3. Present the first group and emphasise particular aspects
  4. Present another group, emphasise particular aspects and integrate them into the previous results
  5. Repeat the previous step until all groups have presented their results
