Description

Important technical properties are listed in a list of requirements as well as wishes and minimum requirements. In the context of product development, the requirements list is the result of the customer's requirements, after consideration of the manufacturer's implementation. The requirements list is used in further work steps. Looking back, this can also be used to quantify the fulfillment of requirements.

Procedure

  1. Gathering the requirements
  2. Classifying the requirements, for example according to responsibilities, life cycle phase, technical-economic or organizational requirements, importance
  3. Document the requirement in the requirements list
  4. Filling out the individual requirement with name, characteristic, form, responsibility, date
  5. Maintain requirements list continuously during the development project
