Description

With a link matrix, connections and their intensity are determined between objects from different categories using a value scale. In this way, focal points and dependencies can be identified.

Procedure

  1. Define two categories to be linked and plot them as the abscissa and ordinate of a matrix
  2. List elements that are relevant to the system under consideration in the two categories
  3. List connections between the elements, including the direction of the dependency and its weighting if necessary
  4. Analyze the matrix, for example using cluster analysis or active and passive
