Description
With a link matrix, connections and their intensity are determined between objects from different categories using a value scale. In this way, focal points and dependencies can be identified.
Procedure
- Define two categories to be linked and plot them as the abscissa and ordinate of a matrix
- List elements that are relevant to the system under consideration in the two categories
- List connections between the elements, including the direction of the dependency and its weighting if necessary
- Analyze the matrix, for example using cluster analysis or active and passive
