Activities

  • Activity 1: Clarifying and itemising the problem or task
  • Activity 3: Searching for solution principles and their solutions

Necessary tools

  • Catalogs can be helpful for searching for active principleps. Such can be found, for example, in the additional literature.

Description

The combination of several active principles creates an active structure, which, after further specification, leads to a basic solution. The active principle contains the physical element required to fulfill a function Effect as well as the geometric and material features. The active structure shows the interaction of several active principles, which indicates the solution principle for fulfilling the overall task.

Procedure

  1. Determine active principles
  2. Search for active structures
  3. Infer possible solutions
