  • Activity 9: Assurance of the fulfilment of the requirements

Description

In crucial situations, a cause-effect analysis can help to analyze the effects and causes of important events or conditions and thus identify causal connections and networks.

Procedure

  1. Choose the direction of action: forward or backward cause effect analysip. In the first case, the cause at the beginning is taken as a starting point, while in the second case, the effect at the end is used as the starting point
  2. Specify the initial element as a cause for which possible error consequences are to be searched for or an error for which causes are to be determined
  3. Starting from each newly determined element, determine the causes or effects until the required level of detail is reached
